HRC leads the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program, a multibillion-dollar initiative to design, build and commission 65 new EMU train sets and associated facilities by 2031. Supported by local and overseas engineering teams, the program emphasises safety, reliability and passenger comfort.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in rail test & commissioning
  • Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • Thorough understanding of HSE legislation and quality-management systems
  • Proficiency in MS Office and cloud-based documentation tools
  • Develop test instructions and documentation to meet contractual requirements
  • Conduct static and dynamic commissioning tests, then record and report results
  • Perform systematic fault-finding and root-cause analysis
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients and equipment suppliers to resolve technical issues
  • Manage engineering change-control processes (ECR, EO, NCR, etc.)
