HRC supports the delivery and upkeep of the New Intercity Fleet (NIF) for Transport for NSW. The Kangy Angy facility specialises in ensuring rolling stock meets the highest standards of safety, appearance and corrosion protection.
- Trade qualification in Automotive Refinishing, Industrial Painting or equivalent
- Proven experience in spray-gun, roller and brush painting
- Knowledge of surface preparation, masking and protective coatings
- Understanding of workplace health & safety requirements and hazardous-materials handling
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Prepare train car surfaces (sanding, cleaning, masking, priming) prior to painting
- Apply paint coatings to achieve uniform, durable finishes
- Perform touch-ups, graffiti removal and defect rectification as needed
- Maintain accurate records of materials used and work performed
- Keep painting booth and equipment clean, organised and compliant with safety standards
